Don't let them scare you!

I'm tired of all the negativity out there about how nobody will ever find a job. Hog-wash! I find jobs all the time. Pretend like finding a job is your job, and you wont have any problems. It's a numbers game. If your not willing to put in the required to time to find a legitimate job and to put yourself out there, you will never find anything. Laziness is not a virtue, even on the computer. I use the following whenever I write my resumes:

Know what your stengths are: Do you even know what position you want to obtain?

Be Concise: Employers don't have all day. Get to the point. What makes you valuable to the company. If I've said it once, I'll say it again. It's not about you.....It's about them.

Use numbers: If you want to look legit, use numbers on your resume. For example, don't say you were the top sales person. Instead, say I was in the top 80% of sales for my company.

Titles: Don't say, I'm a salesman. Say I worked as a "retail sales consultant". Remember, if you don't take the time to feel important about your work, an employer won't feel confident about hiring you. It's that simple.
