Sometimes the truth sucks.

How many resumes do you send a day? Are you thumbing through the yellow pages? Are you calling business owners? Don't be lazy. Napolean Bonaparte(a guy with steal gonads) once said, "Death is nothing, but to live defeated and inglorious is to die daily." Ask yourself, "is this really where I wan't to end up?" No! of course you don't....so why do you keep doing the same boring shit, and expecting the same result? EXCUSES. EXCUSES are like a disease. Start living in truth, start exposing your excuses.

If only I had the right car...........
If only I had loving parents.........
If only I was more talented........
If only I could find that book on Barnes and Noble......
If only I was more popular...............
If only I wasn't so shy..........
If only I was better looking.......

Excuses will screw up your life. Don't let it happen. Time is your greatest resource and your greatest foe. As Nike likes to say, "Just Do It!".

Don't let them scare you!

I'm tired of all the negativity out there about how nobody will ever find a job. Hog-wash! I find jobs all the time. Pretend like finding a job is your job, and you wont have any problems. It's a numbers game. If your not willing to put in the required to time to find a legitimate job and to put yourself out there, you will never find anything. Laziness is not a virtue, even on the computer. I use the following whenever I write my resumes:

Know what your stengths are: Do you even know what position you want to obtain?

Be Concise: Employers don't have all day. Get to the point. What makes you valuable to the company. If I've said it once, I'll say it again. It's not about you.....It's about them.

Use numbers: If you want to look legit, use numbers on your resume. For example, don't say you were the top sales person. Instead, say I was in the top 80% of sales for my company.

Titles: Don't say, I'm a salesman. Say I worked as a "retail sales consultant". Remember, if you don't take the time to feel important about your work, an employer won't feel confident about hiring you. It's that simple.

Tips for Kick-Ass job seekers

Here are some things to consider when looking for legitimate jobs:

-If they don't mention their company name-move on. Most likely it's a scam trying to get you to sign up so they can sell your information

-Never give your resume out on craigslist unless requested. Usually I'll write the following: "Hello_____, I was interested in knowing a little more about your company. My resume is available upon request. I look forward to hearing about you soon! Best regards, _______

-Another little trick that works wonders is to mention something unique about you in the subject line of your email. "Experienced, Motivated, Stress-free employee", it will make you stand out from the crowd. Try it!

-When you recieve a call to set up the interview, stand up. When you stand, it your voice comes across clearer and you sound more confident. I know it's not easy to find ideas like this, let alone find legitimate jobs online. If you are sincerely looking for more information on this topic Click Here!
